Join artists Louise Beer and John Hooper for a listening workshop, including a silent walk, a drawing exercise and the opportunity to listen to the landscape through a series of microphones. This workshop is for ‘Earth, a Cosmic Spectacle’ at Everybody Arts in Halifax.

Schedule
2.30 - 2.40pm: Introduction to the workshop
2.40 - 3.30pm: Workshop on soundscapes of the environment around the observatory (this will include walking in the natural spaces around the site, using different microphones, doing a silent walk and drawing what we can hear with our eyes closed)
3.30 - 3.45pm: A talk from the Astronomy Centre about our place in the universe and 'sound' in space
3.55 - 4.30pm: Solar observing
